Job summary

Impact Food Group is seeking a Mobile Catering Assistant to cover multiple schools in the Stockton-on-the-Forest area. Working 15 hours per week across term time plus inset days, you will join a friendly catering team, delivering safe, tasty meals to students while traveling between sites.

You will handle simple food prep, serve at the counter, operate the till, and keep dining areas clean. A DBS check is required; access to your own transport is preferred due to travel between sites.

About The Role

Job Title: Mobile Catering Assistant

Location: Covering schools in the Stockton on the Forest area

Working Days: Monday to Friday

Shifts & Working hours: 11am-2pm with Flexibility (15 hours per week)

Working Weeks: 37 weeks per year (term time plus inset days)

Pay Details: £7,816.65 per #salaryper## (Milege paid at £0.45 per mile) You will need access to your own transport.

What Will I Be Doing?

This is a Catering Assistant role working across a small portfolio of schools. You won’t be based at just one school—you’ll be supporting multiple sites. Travel between schools will be paid, and you’ll always be advised in advance which sites you’ll be covering.

Key Responsibilities:

• Work as part of the catering team to provide a friendly, efficient, and hygienic service to all students.
• Assist in the preparation of food and snacks.
• Deliver excellent counter service and operate the till.
• Keep kitchen and dining areas clean, tidy, and safe at all times.
