The Academies for Character and Excellence (ACE) is seeking a Trust Repair & Maintenance Technician to cover our school sites in Devon. Join our Estates Team to keep buildings well maintained, safe and compliant in health, safety and estates management.

You’ll perform a range of trades, from carpentry to electrical work, plumbing and more, with on-site responsibilities and collaboration with staff, pupils, and parents. DBS checks apply.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience across multiple trades with safety regulations.
• Knowledge of COSHH and safe working within constraints.
• Ability to interact professionally with staff, visitors, pupils and parents.

Responsibilities

• Provide a proactive maintenance service across school sites.
• Carry out planned and reactive maintenance tasks.
• Oversee contractors and ensure safety and compliance.
• Maintain documentation for compliance systems (training provided).
