Job summary

Witherslack Group in Hinckley is recruiting a maintenance worker to keep our SEND school facilities in top condition. You’ll handle general repairs, help drive school vehicles, and keep grounds tidy, while interacting with pupils and receiving safeguarding training.

Qualifications

• Some maintenance skills, either professionally or as a DIY enthusiast.
• Be a team player who can help others.
• Willing to undertake Health & Safety training and safeguarding training.

Responsibilities

• Carry out general day-to-day repairs to keep the school building in good repair.
• Drive school vehicles and keep them in working order.
• Ensure the school grounds and gardens are neat and tidy.
• Be a friendly face for pupils and participate in safeguarding training.
