Job summary

Witherslack Group is seeking a maintenance worker for our Hinckley-based school. You’ll ensure the building runs smoothly, operate and maintain school vehicles, and keep grounds tidy while engaging with students and staff.

Qualifications

• Have some maintenance skills, either professionally or as a DIY enthusiast.
• Be a ‘can do’ attitude – a team player who rolls up their sleeves to help others.
• Be confident taking responsibility for buying smaller pieces of maintenance equipment.
• Willing to undertake Health & Safety and other relevant training.

Responsibilities

• Perform general day-to-day repairs to keep the school running.
• Drive the school vehicles and keep them in good working order.
• Keep the school grounds and garden neat and tidy.
• Support safeguarding training and other required training as part of the role.
