Job summary

Witherslack Group is seeking a maintenance worker for Hinckley House school. You’ll handle general repairs, drive school vehicles, and keep grounds tidy, ensuring the building stays a safe and welcoming place for our young people.

You’ll receive full induction, 35 days holiday including bank holidays, flexible benefits, wellbeing support and medical cover. We provide training in safeguarding and opportunities to grow within a purpose-led education group.

Qualifications

• Have some maintenance skills, either professionally or as a DIY enthusiast.
• Be a team player with a can-do attitude and willingness to help others.
• Be confident taking responsibility for buying smaller pieces of maintenance equipment.
• Willing to undertake Health & Safety and other relevant training.

Responsibilities

• Carry out general day-to-day repairs to keep the school running.
• Drive school vehicles and ensure they are well maintained.
• Keep school grounds and gardens neat and tidy.
