Job summary

St Thomas More Catholic School in Blaydon-On-Tyne is seeking a Kitchen Supervisor to support the Chef Manager in daily meals for students. You will lead food preparation, presentation and service to high standards and deputise during absences.

You must hold City & Guilds 7061/7062 or an NVQ with Health & Safety and Food Hygiene qualifications, and bring experience of catering in large quantities in education or commercial settings. 32 hours per week, term-time only plus 3 days.

Qualifications

• Experience in catering for large quantities in education or commercial settings.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Chef Manager plan, organise and provide catering operations to ensure high quality food, presentation and service.
• Deputise when the Chef Manager is unavailable, catering for all school service periods, events and services.
