Job summary

Witherslack Group Ltd. is seeking a school kitchen cook to join our team, working 32.5 hours per week across Monday to Friday. The role includes planning nutritious menus, supervising a kitchen team, and ensuring adherence to food hygiene standards within our SEND schools.

You will have a Level 3 Food Safety in Catering and experience budgeting for meals, with responsibilities including bulk ordering and maintaining high nutritional quality for our young people.

Qualifications

• Level 3 Food Safety in Catering or equivalent.
• Ability to plan menus.
• Experience budgeting for meals and ordering in bulk.

Responsibilities

• Supervise a skilled kitchen team and plan nutritious menus for students.
• Ensure compliance with food hygiene regulations and nutritional standards.
