Job summary

Tyne and Wear Learning Trust is seeking an outstanding School Cook to join East Herrington Primary Academy's kitchen, leading the development of the school's catering provision with fresh, healthy meals.

You will lead a catering team, ensure meals meet high standards and comply with Government School Food Standards, and bring ideas to enhance menus while engaging pupils in healthy eating.

Qualifications

• Catering qualification or significant experience leading a catering function.
• Strong catering knowledge and leadership skills.
• Commitment to providing healthy, nutritious meals for children.
• Experience with stock control, ordering and daily catering operations.

Responsibilities

• Lead and inspire the catering team to deliver high-quality meals.
