Berkeley Scott Limited in Tottenham is seeking an experienced Sous Chef for a school catering role. This temporary position offers Monday to Friday shifts, with school-friendly hours and weekly pay.

You will support the Head Chef in running the school kitchen and in preparing fresh, high‑quality meals for pupils and staff. You will supervise kitchen staff, manage food safety and HACCP compliance, assist with menu planning and dietary requirements, and help minimise waste.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Sous Chef or senior chef in a busy kitchen.
• Experience in a busy professional kitchen is essential.
• School or education catering experience is desirable but not essential.
• Food Safety and Allergen qualifications, or willingness to complete the required training.
• Strong communication, organisation and leadership skills.
• Reliable, professional and positive attitude.
• An Enhanced DBS check for the child workforce, or willingness to obtain one.
• Right to work in the UK.

Responsabilités

• Supporting the Head Chef with the daily running of the school kitchen.
• Preparing and cooking fresh, high quality meals for pupils and staff.
