Sodexo at Millennium Primary School in London is seeking a Cook Manager to oversee all food & beverage operations and the kitchen’s finances. You will lead a kitchen team, develop menus, manage costs and ensure high standards while upholding safety and quality for students and staff.

You will also mentor staff, maintain service excellence, and work to create a positive, productive workplace environment with consistent quality across meals and service.

Qualifications

• Experience cooking for large groups (100–1300 students).
• Experience supervising staff or line management.
• Knowledge of health and safety procedures in a busy kitchen.

Responsabilités

• Oversee replenishment of food and end-of-service cleanup.
• Develop, mentor, train and inspire kitchen team.
• Control catering operation including labour, food and stock costs.
• Manage and optimise all controllable costs.
• Ensure consistent food and service standards for staff, visitors and students.
• Create and develop school menus.
• Conduct routine audits to ensure standards are met.
