Job summary

St Giles Spencer Academy is seeking a Catering Assistant to join our team on a part-time, term-time basis at the Sir Frank Whittle Road site. You will help set up dining areas and support pupils with additional needs, working calmly and creatively as part of a friendly staff group.

The role is permanent, 15 hours per week, 10:45am to 1:45pm, Monday to Friday during term time plus INSETS (39 weeks per year). You should have excellent interpersonal skills and be a reliable team player.

Responsibilities

• Set up dining hall and assist with dining area tidying and placement of furniture
• Support pupils with additional needs during dining times and meal service
• Work as part of a small, dedicated catering team to provide a world-class educational environment
