Job summary

Coast and Vale Learning Trust is seeking a friendly and reliable school kitchen assistant to join our catering team. You will help provide healthy, appealing meals for pupils in a busy school environment and support safe food hygiene and kitchen safety practices.

The role is part-time, permanent and term-time only, working 16 hours per week, Monday to Friday from 10:30am to 1:45pm. Applications close 9am on Monday 21st September 2026.

Qualifications

• Part-time position in a busy school kitchen.
• Core duties include helping serve healthy meals and supporting pupils.
• Good understanding of food hygiene and kitchen safety required.
• Reliable and well-organised with ability to work during busy service periods.
