Job summary

Stock C of E Primary School in Ingatestone is seeking a friendly and flexible Catering Assistant for a term-time, part-time position (10 hours per week, 11:45am–1:45pm, Monday to Friday). You will support a small catering team, help with setups, washing up, cleaning, and serving pupils and staff.

Experience in catering or school catering is preferred, but training will be provided. Appointments require safeguarding checks in line with school policy and DBS clearance.

Qualifications

• Previous catering or school catering experience is preferred but not essential, as appropriate training will be given.

Responsibilities

• Assist with setting up and clearing away as part of daily duties.
• Wash up and perform cleaning and housekeeping tasks.
• Serve pupils, staff and visitors in a friendly manner.
