Teaching Personnel are seeking a Kitchen Assistant to work within a secondary school in Weymouth. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is dependable, enthusiastic and enjoys working as part of a team.

You will play an important role in supporting the school's catering provision, helping to ensure students and staff receive a friendly and efficient service throughout the school day.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Help with the preparation and serving of meals.
• Assist the catering team during busy service periods.
• Clean kitchen areas, equipment and utensils.
• Wash up and maintain a clean and organised kitchen.
• Assist with deliveries and stock management.
• Follow food hygiene and health and safety regulations.
• Support the kitchen team with day-to-day duties.
• Provide a welcoming and professional service to students and staff.
