Teaching Personnel are seeking a Kitchen Assistant to work within a secondary school in Weymouth. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is dependable, enthusiastic and enjoys working as part of a team.

You will play an important role in supporting the school's catering provision, helping to ensure students and staff receive a friendly and efficient service throughout the school day.

Qualifications

• Assist with deliveries and stock management.
• Follow food hygiene and health and safety regulations.
• Support the kitchen team with day-to-day duties.
• Provide a welcoming and professional service to students and staff.

Your duties will include:

• Helping with the preparation and serving of meals
• Assisting the catering team during busy service periods
• Cleaning kitchen areas, equipment and utensils
• Washing up and maintaining a clean and organised kitchen
• Assisting with deliveries and stock management
• Following food hygiene and health and safety regulations
• Supporting the kitchen team with general day-to-day duties
• Providing a welcoming and professional service to students and staff

The ideal Kitchen Assistant will be:
