Job summary

Springfield Primary School in Chelmsford is seeking a part-time Kitchen Assistant to work in our busy school kitchen, preparing 200+ meals per day for pupils. You will be expected to wash up, clean the dining hall and kitchen, and assist with hot and cold lunches.

The role is 11.30am to 1.45pm, Monday to Friday, term time only. It requires a proactive, reliable approach; the post is subject to enhanced DBS clearance, references and medical checks.

Job description

We are looking to appoint a Kitchen Assistant to work part-time in our busy school kitchen providing 200+ meals per day for our pupils.

Our ideal candidate will be efficient, enthusiastic and have a passion for great quality food. Duties include washing up and cleaning the dining hall and kitchen and assisting with the preparation of hot and cold lunches.
