Bridge nd County Borough Council Catering Services is recruiting an assistant cook for Llangewydd Junior School to support meal preparation and daily kitchen operations. You will help the cook, safeguard meal quality, and ensure a smooth service for pupils and staff during term time.

The role requires an Intermediate Food Hygiene Certificate, Welsh language ability, and DBS clearance, with hours 10:00–14:00, Monday to Friday, term time only.

Qualifications

• Welsh language ability is a stated requirement.
• Intermediate Food Hygiene Certificate is required for this post.

Responsibilities

• Support the cook with the preparation of universal primary free school meals.
• Assist in day-to-day activities in the kitchen and ensure quality service to customers.
• Cover for the Cook in their absence and at other schools within the County Borough.
