Job summary

Bridgend County Borough Council is seeking General Kitchen Assistants to support school meals across 56 schools in the county. You will assist in preparation, presentation and service, ensuring a safe, clean dining environment for pupils and staff.

Roles include laying out dining areas and operating a touch screen terminal where needed; training will be provided. Flexibility to cover across schools and work during term time only, with hours from 10:00 to 14:30, Monday to Friday.

Qualifications

• Assistance in preparation, presentation and service of school meals.
• Commitment to maintaining a safe, clean dining environment.
• Willingness to cover across multiple schools as required.
• DBS check required, enhanced DBS for children.
