Job summary

South Lee Prep School and Nursery is seeking an IT Technician to support staff and pupils in a part-time role. You will manage Microsoft 365, assist with iPad management, and troubleshoot devices and networks in a friendly school environment.

The role offers flexible 10-hour weeks, with opportunities to contribute to technology-enhanced learning and professional development within the education setting.

Qualifications

• Provide daily technical support for staff and pupils.
• Manage and maintain the school’s Microsoft 365 environment, including Teams and ENGAGE.
• Support and administer Jamf School MDM for 1:1 and shared iPads.
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues promptly.
• Ensure devices are secure, updated, and classroom-ready.
• Assist onboarding new staff and students to school systems.
• Liaise with external IT providers when required.
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Clear communication to support non-technical users.
• Appreciation of busy school environments.
