Job summary

PlanetRecruitment seeks an experienced Trust IT Manager for a Dulwich-based role supporting schools within a Trust. You will manage the ICT network, ensure availability and security, and collaborate with SLT to shape IT strategy.

The ideal candidate has 2–3 years’ experience in a school setting, strong communication, and a proactive approach to service improvement. DBS check is required. Salary £37,000–£42,000 with benefits.

Qualifications

• A passion for IT with 2–3 years’ experience in a school as an IT Network Manager/IT Manager.
• Experience upgrading a school IT Network system.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Managing the school’s network infrastructure and ICT-based applications.
• Overseeing day-to-day IT operations and the workload of IT Technicians.
• Providing technical advice and training to staff for effective system use.
• Ensuring security, backups, and monitoring of key systems.
