Job summary

Planet Recruitment is seeking an experienced Trust IT Manager to support multiple schools within a Dulwich/London-based trust. The role focuses on secure, reliable ICT networks and proactive service delivery to staff and learners.

You will lead a small IT team, coordinate infrastructure projects, and work closely with senior leaders to align IT with the trust's strategic plan. A background in education IT and strong communication are essential.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years’ experience in a school IT environment.
• Experience upgrading a school IT network.
• Excellent communication and customer-service skills.
• Self-motivated with teamwork and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Manage the school's network infrastructure and ICT applications.
• Oversee IT Technicians’ workload and development.
• Provide technical training and staff support.
• Manage day-to-day IT operations and service requests.
• Monitor switches, server environments, and backups.
• Provide 2nd/3rd line support.
• Enforce school policies and compliance.
• Train internal staff on IT tools.
• Line-manage ICT support staff and guide training.
