We are currently seeking to represent an experienced School Improvement Consultant with exceptional skills in SEND education for a new long-term, temporary to permanent job opportunity. If you are a SEND specialist senior leader seeking a new leadership job either immediately or from January 2027, we would be keen to speak with you.

We are a Lot 1 Agency Supplier on the GCA Framework and as such, have been appointed by a large, Multi Academy Trust in the Northampton (NN4), East Midlands area to assist them with some immediately available leadership vacancies.

This School Improvement Consultant job is available immediately on a full-time, long-term basis and will be offered until at least July 2027 with the potential to become permanent. We are able to offer a daily rate paid to scale from day one for a comparative salary of between £82,654 to £88,951.

This is an opportunity to work across a large multi academy trust as their key contact for all SEND improvements. Whilst you will be based at their head office, this is a field-based role and the successful candidate will have the autonomy to manage their own diary based on the needs of up to 12 schools within the Northampton area. You will work directly alongside Headteachers, senior leaders, SENDCOs, pastoral teams, and specialist provisions to improve the quality of education and inclusion for SEND, disadvantaged pupils, pupils with English as an Additional Language (EAL), looked after children (CLA), and children known or previously known to social care. You will support the delivery of the Trust’s inclusion strategy through coaching, challenge, and hands‑on school‑based improvement work. This truly is an opportunity to make a difference to the children who need it most.

We hold REC Corporate Membership, and we are fully committed to safeguarding all children within our schools. We are fully committed to a stringent compliance process and in addition to our checks all shortlisted candidates will be subject to online searches.
