Job summary

McLaren High School in Callander, under Stirling Council, seeks a temporary ICT Technician to deliver day-to-day ICT support and maintain Chromebooks and laptops. You will assist staff with classroom technology, set up ICT equipment, and manage user accounts, while contributing to IT projects and backups. PVG checks are required.

The role sits within the school IT network, with guidance from the Education Technology team, and involves occasional event setup and flexible hours.

Qualifications

• Experience with repairing and maintaining Chromebooks and laptops.
• Ability to support staff with classroom technology issues.
• Proficiency in setting up and installing computers and ICT equipment.
• Experience managing user accounts and performing routine system checks.
• Willingness to undergo PVG scheme checks for children.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day ICT support across the school.
• Repair and maintain Chromebooks and laptops.
• Support staff with classroom technology issues.
