Job summary

The City of Edinburgh Council is seeking an ICT Technician for St Augustine's RC High School in Edinburgh. The role involves supporting teaching by preparing, distributing and troubleshooting ICT equipment including Smart Boards, iPads and PCs.

This is a part-time, pro rata post of 30 hours per week across 39 weeks per year, with a salary range of £30,188–£34,452. You will join a school community that values proactive IT support and inclusive education, with PVG checks a condition of employment

Qualifications

• Confident in directing and organising own work to support teaching.
• Ability to prepare, distribute and troubleshoot ICT equipment including Smart Boards, iPads and PCs.
• Proactive about identifying improvements and working with school staff to enhance student learning.

Responsibilities

• Direct and organise ICT support to teachers and pupils.
• Prepare, distribute and troubleshoot ICT devices and equipment (Smart Boards, iPads, PCs).
• Identify areas for improvement and implement solutions in collaboration with staff.
