Job summary

Turn IT on in High Wycombe is seeking a Junior ICT Consultant with a flair for technology and a passion for delivering excellent service to customers.

You will maintain IT hardware and software across school sites, install and support applications, and help schools improve ICT provision to support teaching and learning. A genuine enthusiasm for IT and customer service is essential, with DBS checks as part of the process.

Qualifications

• Hands-on ICT support in school environments preferred.
• Experience installing and supporting hardware, software and networking in schools.
• Strong communication and organisational skills and ability to explain issues plainly.
• DBS checks and safeguarding awareness as part of the role.

Responsibilities

• Resolve and manage technical issues impacting the school's operations.
• Install or repair computers with standardised apps and networking software.
• Support network and desktop services across school devices (PCs, tablets, printers, AV equipment).
• Communicate service offerings to schools and manage customer accounts.
