Berkeley Scott is recruiting a reliable General Assistant to join a school catering team in Loughborough. If you have kitchen experience and enjoy working as part of a team, this role offers an opportunity to contribute to a friendly school environment.

Roles include supporting daily food preparation and service, maintaining hygiene, and ensuring smooth catering operations with weekly pay. DBS and food safety qualifications are required or in progress.

Formación

• Enhanced DBS (essential)
• Food Safety Level 2 certificate
• Food Allergen certificate, or willingness to obtain both certificates
• Previous kitchen or catering experience

Responsabilidades

• Support kitchen team with daily food prep and service.
• Assist with preparing and serving meals to pupils and staff.
• Keep kitchen and dining areas clean and hygienic.
• Wash dishes and maintain high food hygiene standards.
• Follow food safety and allergen procedures at all times.
• Work with the team to ensure smooth school catering service.

Requirements

• An Enhanced DBS (essential).
• Food Safety Level 2 certificate.
• Food Allergen certificate, or willingness to obtain both certificates.
• Previous experience working in a kitchen or catering environment.
• Driving is preferred but not essential.
• A positive attitude, reliability and a good team spirit.

What You Will Be Doing

• Supporting the kitchen team with daily food preparation and service.

• Washing up and maintaining high food hygiene standards.
