Job summary

Vivify Venues is seeking a Community Host to support school lettings and events after hours, ensuring a safe, welcoming and well-run facility. You’ll assist with setting up spaces, light cleaning, security checks and health and safety reporting using our platform.

Full training is provided to build safeguarding awareness and customer service excellence. We offer staff uniforms, wellbeing support, free parking and opportunities for career development.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer-facing roles is required.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to stay organised in a busy setting.
• Awareness of health and safety best practices.

Responsibilities

• Assist hirers with setting up facilities for lettings and events.
• Perform light cleaning and ensure equipment is stored after use.
• Unlock and secure gates and doors during shifts and monitor site safety.
• Complete health and safety checks and report hazards via our platform.
• Attend full training on safeguarding, manual handling, fire safety and customer service.
