Job summary

eTeach UK Limited in Milton Keynes is seeking a proactive School Site Manager to ensure our school buildings, grounds and facilities are safe, well-maintained, and compliant for pupils, staff and visitors.

You will carry out day-to-day repairs, support health and safety, log works, and assist with audits, opening/closing procedures, and safeguarding duties. A full UK driving licence and willingness to undergo Enhanced DBS checks are required.

Qualifications

• Practical experience in building maintenance, caretaking, or facilities work.
• Good knowledge of health and safety regulations.
• Ability to carry out minor repairs safely and competently.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work independently.
• Flexible, trustworthy and child-focused approach.
• Experience in a school or education setting.
• Familiarity with fire safety and water hygiene procedures.

Responsibilities

• Carry out day-to-day repairs and maintenance (basic carpentry, plumbing, painting).
• Conduct routine inspections and respond promptly to maintenance issues.
• Support health and safety compliance, including fire safety and water hygiene checks.
• Maintain external areas such as playgrounds, paths, and car parks.
• Assist with site security, opening/closing procedures, and emergency responses.
• Log completed works and assist with audits and inspections.
• Provide support for school activities and liaise courteously with staff, pupils, and visitors.
