Job summary

Plympton Academy is seeking a Facilities Officer to assist the Site Manager with day-to-day tasks, site maintenance and capital projects. Your main base will be Plympton Academy, with potential travel to other hub sites within the Trust.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a caretaker or similar.
• Competent in managing premises and facilities across Trust sites.
• Experience with maintenance programmes and budgets.
• Health & safety knowledge and practical maintenance skills.
• Driving licence and access to own transport is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Site Manager with day-to-day tasks and capital projects.
• Oversee maintenance programmes and monitor budgets.
• Ensure premises are secure, safe and well-maintained at all times.
• Travel to other sites within the hub as required.
