St Hilda’s CE High School is seeking a proactive Facilities Officer to lead the management, maintenance and safety of the school premises in Sefton Park, South Liverpool. You will oversee caretaking, cleaning and catering teams, manage the planned maintenance programme and ensure compliance with health, safety and welfare legislation.

Responsibilities

• Organise and coordinate on-site services to ensure high standard with minimal disruption to teaching and learning
• Oversee the school's planned maintenance programme and delivery of programme aspects
• Monitor buildings and grounds for safety and efficiency, with flexible hours as required
• Follow procurement procedures to obtain quotes and instruct contractors for value-for-money work
• Contribute to strategic planning of the school site with SLT and Governors
