Job summary

Amey Ltd in Glasgow is seeking an Assistant Operations Manager to lead day-to-day delivery of facilities management across the Glasgow Schools Account. You will work with the Operations Manager to ensure high standards of service delivery, customer satisfaction and operational excellence across Education estate.

You will oversee around 50 cleaning colleagues, building safe, clean environments for students, staff and visitors.

Qualifications

Experience leading large operational teams in Facilities Management or Cleaning.
Proven ability to manage attendance, welfare and performance matters.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Full UK driving licence required.

Responsibilities

Support the Operations Manager in day-to-day running of the Glasgow Schools Account.
Lead a team of ~50 cleaning operatives with strong engagement and service delivery.
Drive operational excellence across multiple school sites and ensure KPIs are met.
Build relationships with school leadership teams and stakeholders.
Perform regular audits and reviews to sustain quality standards.
Assist workforce planning, recruitment, training and resource deployment.
