Rokeby School in Kingston upon Thames is seeking an experienced Facilities and Premises Manager to lead the management and maintenance of our school buildings and grounds. You will oversee a premises team and contractors, ensuring high standards of safety, efficiency and service delivery across all facilities.

Reporting to the Bursar, you will plan and implement long-term development projects, manage day-to-day operations, and coordinate transport, event setups, cleaning and routine maintenance

Qualifications

• Experience managing a premises team and external contractors.
• Ability to plan and deliver refurbishment projects.
• Experience managing day-to-day premises operations and budgets.
• Strong health and safety compliance knowledge.

Responsabilités

• Oversee maintenance of school buildings and grounds.
• Procure services and deliver refurbishment projects on time and within budget.
• Lead and develop the premises team; coordinate with staff and contractors.
• Manage day-to-day premises activities including transport, events setup, cleaning and routine maintenance.
• Ensure health and safety compliance and risk assessments.
• Develop and monitor the annual premises and grounds budgets.
• Collaborate with the Bursar on the 5-year development plan.
