Job summary

Pinnacle Group are looking for an experienced School Caretaker to ensure our buildings are well-maintained, secure, fully functional and Health & Safety compliant. Beechwood School in Slough is the base for this full-time role with alternating shifts 6.30AM-2.30PM or 10.30AM-6.30PM, Monday-Friday.

You will join our Facilities Management team and perform routine maintenance, manage repairs, ensure security protocols, and keep premises clean.

Qualifications

• Experience with general handyperson tasks and basic maintenance duties.

Responsibilities

• Carry out day-to-day caretaking duties per daily schedule and repairs logged.
• Perform litter picking, waste disposal, cleaning external areas, and toilet checks.
• Execute planned preventative maintenance like flushing outlets, sprinkler tests, fire alarms and fire safety checks.
• Respond to emergencies such as floods or spills with prescribed procedures.
• Carry out minor repairs and decoration work.
• Be proactive in spotting facility deficiencies and report to Site Manager.
