Job summary

Thomas Franks Ltd in London is seeking a Dining Room Assistant to join our team at one of our school locations. You will help deliver meals, support children with eating, and clean up after lunch in a busy school dining room environment.

You will need a friendly approach, attention to hygiene, and the ability to work well with children and colleagues in a term-time, 40-hour week role. 40 weeks a year, Monday to Friday.

Qualifications

• Experience in a school dining environment preferred.
• Good verbal and written English skills.
• Able to work effectively as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Deliver meals to children and support healthy eating habits.
• Ensure allergy/allergen safety and appropriate food choices.
• Follow Food Hygiene and Health & Safety policies.
• Set up and clear down the dining area after service.
• Assist the food production team to provide quality service.
• Maintain a clean and welcoming dining environment.
