Job summary

Marchant Recruitment is seeking a meticulous School Data and MIS Officer for a permanent full-time role in Ealing, West London. You will manage pupil and staff data in the school's MIS, generate attendance and census reports, and uphold data confidentiality. Strong Excel and database skills are essential.

Experience with SIMS, Arbor or Bromcom is highly desirable. DBS check will be required in line with the role, and you will support data collection cycles and statutory submissions.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to manage pupil and staff data within a MIS.
• Strong analytical skills with attention to accuracy.
• Excellent data protection and confidentiality understanding.
• Able to translate technical data for non-specialists.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and update pupil and staff information in the MIS.
• Produce reports on attendance, assessment and pupil records.
• Run routine data checks and investigate discrepancies.
• Support data collection cycles and meet deadlines.
• Assist with school census returns and statutory submissions.
• Guide colleagues on data entry and system processes.
