Job summary

Hayesfield Girls' School is seeking an organised Data Manager to lead the Management Information System (Arbor) and oversee student records, reporting, and DfE Census returns. You will manage targets, admissions inputs for year groups, timetable data, and provide technical support to staff while line-managing the Data Officer.

The role requires Arbor experience (or similar MIS), strong spreadsheet skills, and the ability to train staff in data tools; knowledge of Timetabler is desirable.

Qualifications

• Experience with Arbor or a similar school MIS.
• Strong data governance and accurate reporting.
• Experience in a secondary school data environment is highly desirable.
• Ability to train and support staff in data tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage Arbor, SISRA, and TT-Options/Timetabler for assessment, tracking, student records and timetable maintenance.
• Produce student progress targets, KS5 targets, and data drops for leadership and trust.
• Oversee government and DfE Census requirements and related statutory reporting.
• Coordinate data collection and admissions inputs for Year 6 into 7 and mid-year entries.
• Line manage the Data Officer and oversee day-to-day performance.
• Support results processing and exam broadsheets for GCSE results day.
