Job summary

Hayesfield Girls’ School is seeking a Data Manager to lead the management information systems and oversee data reporting. You will handle student records, timetable maintenance, and key statutory returns, while supporting staff with data tools.

The role requires experience with Arbor or similar MIS, knowledge of Timetabler, and strong organisational skills within a secondary school data environment. The position is permanent and term-time with INSET days.

Qualifications

• Proven experience with Arbor or similar school MIS.
• Experience with spreadsheet/database tools (e.g., Google Sheets).
• Knowledge of Timetabler software and creating/manipulating spreadsheet formulae.
• Experience in a secondary school data environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage Arbor, SISRA, and TT-Options/Timetabler for assessment, tracking, student records and timetable maintenance.
• Produce student progress targets and KS5 transition targets for leadership and trust data drops.
• Oversee government and DfE Census requirements.
• Coordinate data collection/admissions inputs for Year 6 into 7 and mid-year entries.
• Line manage the Data Officer and handle performance management.
• Support results processing for GCSE results day and assist with exam broadsheets.
