Job summary

Classroom Talent in Arlesey, Bedfordshire, is seeking a Data Manager to oversee the school’s data systems and reporting. You will manage the MIS, develop dashboards, and work with SLT to drive data-informed school improvement.

The role requires strong data, MIS and analytical skills, with a focus on accuracy, security and timely reporting across attendance, assessments and admissions.

Qualifications

• GCSE English and Maths at Grade C/4 or above
• Strong Excel skills and data manipulation experience
• Experience of data input, manipulation and reporting
• Knowledge of data requirements within schools
• Experience using Bromcom or similar MIS
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Experience with SISRA, Power BI, Google Suite and school systems would be advantageous

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain the school's MIS and data reports.
• Produce reports on student, academic, attendance and assessments data.
• Maintain student and staff records.
• Set up and maintain assessment marksheets and reporting systems.
• Support whole-school data drops and produce analysis for senior/middle leaders.
• Complete the School Census and other statutory data returns.
• Maintain attendance recording, monitoring and reporting systems.
• Coordinate admissions processes and maintain timetable data.
• Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards for academic, behaviour and attendance data.
• Collaborate with senior leaders and safeguarding/pastoral teams.
• Ensure data is handled securely and in line with data protection requirements.
