Classroom Cover Supervisor - Bacup, Lancashire

Vision for Education are working in partnership with a welcoming secondary school in Bacup, Lancashire to appoint a Classroom Cover Supervisor for a full-time role starting in September 2026. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to gain valuable classroom experience within a supportive school environment.

The Role

The successful Classroom Cover Supervisor will work across Key Stage 3 (KS3) and Key Stage 4 (KS4), supervising classes during the short-term absence of teaching staff. You will deliver pre-planned lessons, manage classroom behaviour and ensure students remain engaged in their learning.

This is a full-time, long-term position starting in September 2026, making it an ideal opportunity for someone looking to establish themselves within a secondary school setting.

No teaching qualification is required; however, applicants must be able to demonstrate previous experience working with children or young people in any capacity, such as coaching, youth work, mentoring, support work or voluntary roles.

Full training and ongoing support will be provided to help develop effective classroom and behaviour management skills.
