Job summary

Vision for Education Ltd are recruiting experienced Cover Supervisors to work across a range of secondary school settings in Trafford and the local surrounding area.

As a Cover Supervisor, you will take responsibility for leading classes in the absence of the teacher, delivering pre-set lesson plans and maintaining a positive learning environment. You'll support students with their work, manage behaviour effectively, complete registers, and provide clear handover information to teaching staff.

Qualifications

• Previous experience working as a Cover Supervisor in secondary schools.
• Confident in managing classrooms and maintaining a calm, focused learning environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Able to provide suitable references, Enhanced DBS, and Right to Work in the UK.

Responsibilities

• Lead classes in the absence of the teacher.
• Deliver pre-set lesson plans and maintain a positive learning environment.
• Support students with their work and manage behaviour effectively.

To be considered for this Cover Supervisor role, you must:

• Have previous experience working as a Cover Supervisor in secondary schools

• Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Be committed to supporting young people's learning and development
• Be able to provide suitable references, hold (or be willing to apply for) an Enhanced DBS, and have the Right to Work in the UK
