Job description

We're currently recruiting a passionate Cook to bring flavor to Chartwells on a part-time basis, contracted to 25 hours per week.

As a Cook, you will support our talented culinary teams in preparing and serving delicious food. You'll help keep our clients and customers smiling with dining experiences that meet popular tastes and dietary requirements. In return, you'll have the opportunity to progress your culinary career within a market-leading food service company.

Please note: This role is contracted for 43 weeks per year.

Your key responsibilities will include:

1. Preparing high-quality food that brightens our customers' day
2. Working in a team to prepare and serve delicious meals
3. Seeking opportunities to improve our menus and food services
4. Maintaining a positive brand image through exemplary customer service
5. Recording and reducing food waste levels
6. Supporting all kitchen organization, stocking, and cleaning responsibilities
7. Complying with Food Handling & Hygiene standards
8. Complying with Health & Safety regulations

Our ideal Cook will:

1. Be passionate about world-class food and customer service
2. Have experience in a similar role
3. Be a strong team player with excellent communication skills
