Job summary

Stirling Council is seeking a part-time cleaner at Balfron High School to provide 20 hours per week of professional cleaning across 39 weeks per year, Monday to Friday, at Stirling Council Grade 1. The role supports term-time operations and requires ability to lift heavy items and operate cleaning machinery.

Candidates should have basic IT skills and be prepared to undergo PVG checks for Children and Adults.

Qualifications

• Applicants should be capable of lifting heavy items, be able to use or willing to undertake training in the use of cleaning machinery including electric buffing machines, scrubber dryers and vacuum cleaners.
• They should be able to clean surfaces to head height and be prepared to work alone.
• Applicants will also require a basic working knowledge of IT and be willing to undertake training.
• The successful candidate will be required to be a member of the Protecting Vulnerable Groups Scheme (PVG) for Children and Adults.
