St Michael's CE Middle School is seeking a dedicated Cleaner to join our friendly site team. The role involves carrying out cleaning duties to maintain a clean, hygienic and safe school environment, with the focus on areas including the swimming pool and studio gym.

This is a part-time, term-time post totaling 14 hours per week across two possible roles. Role 1 offers 4 hours (Thu-Fri, 3:30pm–5:30pm) and Role 2 offers 10 hours (Mon–Fri, 7am–9am); the roles can be combined to make a single

• Clear communication with cleaning team and across the school.
• Fluency in English to understand instructions and communicate.

Responsibilities

• Carry out cleaning tasks per the school's cleaning schedule.
• Use all cleaning materials and equipment safely and according to instructions.
• Report equipment breakdowns or hazards to Headteacher/Site Manager.
• Observe health and safety and security requirements.
• Complete records or documentation as required by Headteacher/Site Manager.
• Maintain good working relationships with staff and adapt to daily routines as needed.
• Ensure work complies with stated requirements and undertake training as required.
• Promote and safeguard the welfare of children and young people according to policy.
