HireHive is seeking a School Cleaner – Site Supervisor (Part-Time) for a school in Shrewsbury Town Walls. The role is 17.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, from 2:30pm to 6:00pm, at £13.50 per hour.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily cleaning operations to maintain a clean, safe school environment.
• Conduct daily/weekly audit inspections of areas.
• Manage monthly stock orders and stock levels.
• Coordinate with site management regarding cleaning and safeguarding.
• Vacuum, mop, dust and clean classrooms, corridors and common areas.
• Clean toilets and washroom facilities; empty bins and replenish consumables.
• Follow cleaning schedules and health and safety procedures.

Main Duties

You will be responsible for overseeing and maintaining a clean, safe, and hygienic environment throughout the school, including:

• Daily/weekly audit inspections of areas
• Monthly stock orders
• Liaise with site management regarding cleaning & safeguarding
• Vacuuming, mopping and dusting
• Cleaning classrooms, corridors, and communal areas
• Cleaning toilets and washroom facilities
• Emptying bins and replenishing consumables
• Following cleaning schedules and health & safety procedures
• Using cleaning equipment and products safely
