Job summary

HireHive is seeking a School Cleaner – Site Supervisor (Part-Time) for a school in Shrewsbury Town Walls. The role is 17.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, from 2:30pm to 6:00pm, at £13.50 per hour.

This permanent position offers consistent hours, training, and career development within a supportive management team. The role requires reliable, punctual, and independent working habits, with a focus on maintaining high cleaning standards across classrooms, corridors and facilities.

Qualifications

• Previous cleaning experience is essential.
• Supervisory experience is beneficial but not essential, as full training and ongoing support will be provided to help you succeed in the role.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily cleaning operations to maintain a clean, safe school environment.
• Conduct daily/weekly audit inspections of areas.
• Manage monthly stock orders and stock levels.
• Coordinate with site management regarding cleaning and safeguarding.
• Vacuum, mop, dust and clean classrooms, corridors and common areas.
• Clean toilets and washroom facilities; empty bins and replenish consumables.
• Follow cleaning schedules and health and safety procedures.
