JDR Recruitment is seeking a part-time School Cleaner to join a school in Shustoke, Birmingham. The role runs Monday to Friday, 3:00pm to 5:30pm, at £13.85 per hour, with immediate start available for the right candidate.

The successful candidate will maintain a clean, safe and welcoming school environment, including classrooms and communal areas, following schedules and procedures and ensuring high standards of hygiene. DBS and transport are essential.

• Previous cleaning experience, preferably in a school or education setting.

The Role

You will be responsible for maintaining a clean, safe and welcoming environment throughout the school, including classrooms and communal areas.

Duties will include:

• Cleaning classrooms, corridors and communal areas
• Cleaning and sanitising toilets and other facilities
• Emptying bins and disposing of waste appropriately
• Following cleaning schedules and school procedures
• Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene
• Working safely and responsibly within a school environment

Requirements

An Enhanced DBS with Child Workforce is essential for this role.

You must also have your own transport and be able to drive, as there is no public transport available to the site.

Previous cleaning experience is preferred, particularly within a school, education or similar environment, although applicants with relevant cleaning experience will be considered.
