Education Authority (Northern Ireland) is seeking a reliable Cleaner to work as part of a team within school premises. The post requires a minimum of three months’ demonstrable cleaning experience and a good understanding of cleaning methods, health and safety with COSHH knowledge.

You will undertake routine cleaning duties such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, and maintaining toilets and wash areas, while following the authority’s procedures and promoting safe, tidy environments.

Qualifications

• Must demonstrate three months’ cleaning experience.
• Knowledge of cleaning methods and COSHH/Health & Safety requirements.
• Good communication and ability to work in a team.

Responsabilités

• Sweep, mop, vacuum and floor care across designated areas.
• Clean toilets, washrooms and remove waste from premises.
• Dust, wipe surfaces and fixtures up to 3.35m high.
• Handle cleaning equipment safely and report faults.
• Work as part of a team and cover colleagues when needed.
