Peterborough College in Stamford is seeking a reliable Cleaner to join our facilities team. You will maintain a clean, safe and welcoming environment for students, staff and visitors, across classrooms, offices and communal areas.

Qualifications

• Experience in cleaning or a similar environment.
• Awareness of health and safety and safe working practices.

Responsibilities

• Clean designated areas to a high standard.
• Carry out toilet checks and respond to spillages.
• Undertake external cleaning, litter picking and bin emptying when required.
• Support deep cleaning and cover colleagues when needed.
• Use cleaning equipment and machinery safely.
• Follow health and safety and hygiene procedures.
• Work flexibly and adapt to changing requirements.
• Provide a friendly and professional service to students, staff and visitors.
