About the role

Pay Details: Grade 1, £24,309 (£12.60/hr)

Hours of Work: Monday to Friday

Term time: 10 hrs/week (38 weeks)

Recess: 8 hrs/week (3 weeks)

Main Place of Work: Llantwit Major School

Responsibilities

• Assist in providing effective cleaning services
• Cover for other cleaners during absences
• Assist with training cleaning staff
• Undertake various cleaning tasks including carpet, steam, builders, and recess cleaning

About you

You will need:

• Previous experience in cleaning or related environment
• Understanding of cleaning tasks for effective service
• Good communication skills for interaction with public and staff
• Physical ability to perform manual duties
• Ability to work independently and efficiently
• Positive, motivated, flexible, and responsive to change
• Willingness to work irregular hours
• Ability to travel across the Vale as needed
