Your new role: This role involves supporting adults with learning disabilities, autism, or mental illness. You will assist with daily living activities, provide personal care when necessary, and help individuals access leisure activities and appointments. This role offers a real opportunity to positively impact lives, promote independence, and improve living standards. Shift patterns are days only, from 8am to 8:30pm.
What you will need to succeed: Experience in social care is not essential, as training and a buddy will be provided for induction. You must be committed to completing this training and any additional required training. You will be supported to gain qualifications and experience for a career in social care. It is important to be friendly and approachable to communicate effectively with those you care for and your team. Due to the need to facilitate community access and transportation, driving is essential for this role.
